Staffing is always a challenge in home health. The best way to keep your good clinical staff is to allow them to work at the top of their license and listen to them. They have a lot of knowledge and ideas that can be helpful to the agency.

Agencies need to develop disease-specific state-wide programs where they have good outcomes and a streamlined, efficient process to market so they can negotiate better contracts. There are other ways, but this one is consistently effective.
